Head - Procurement Demand - FMCG (15-23 yrs)
The purpose of this role is to manage and optimize demand (ATL & TTL, all costs except manpower cost & BTL), indirect spends and compressible cost base at USL. The objective of the role is to ensure efficient S&OP process operations and deliver optimum OTIF (on time in full), inventory levels and minimum cost by enhancing the warehousing and logistics network.
Areas Of Responsibility :
Review Supplies and Inventory Availability :
- Review and Streamline category supplies
- Oversee the inventory/stock availability for key packaging material and ENA
- Analyse structured feedback received from key internal customers/ stakeholders w.r.t the inventory and OTIF Requirements
- Ensure and control optimal delivery of the internal customer requirements
- Overlook the revenue attainment, inventory management & cost containment strategies
- Budget and develop manufacturing and distribution strategy
- Customer satisfaction (Internal Functional Owners)
- Adherence to budget
Implement Saving initiatives :
- Evaluate the savings possibility areas and recommend savings strategy plan for the entire organisation
- Identify possible areas of cost reduction and resources adequacy
- Create a savings pipeline in packing materials through BVE program
- Create a savings pipeline in blending material through BLIMP program

People :
- Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs for department personnel and follow-up for induction/ training delivery through corporate HR
- Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members
- Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles
- Ensure periodic follow-up with the recruitment team to fill the vacant positions with in stipulated time; in case of deviations escalate it to appropriate authority. Employee Engagement score
