Job Title: Head of Procurement
Location: Bangalore
Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to lead our procurement operations for luxury commercial projects.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 15+ years in procurement, with significant experience in high-end commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's luxury brand and business objectives.
2. Manage end-to-end procurement processes for high-end materials, fixtures, and services for luxury commercial projects.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
4. Negotiate complex contracts and agreements to ensure the best value for quality and cost.
5. Oversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring they meet the high standards required for luxury projects.
6. Implement and maintain procurement systems and technologies to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
7. Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
9. Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed of industry trends, pricing, and new products in the luxury commercial sector.
10. Collaborate with project managers and design teams to understand project requirements and source appropriate materials and services.
11. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement
activities and supplier performance.
12. Manage procurement budgets and contribute to cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 8 years in a senior role within the luxury commercial space sector.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing procurement for high-end, large-scale commercial projects.
4. In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and negotiation techniques.
5. Strong understanding of luxury markets, materials, and quality standards.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
10. CPSM, CPM, or other relevant professional certification Plus
