Head - Product Quality - Mining (14-20 yrs)
Position: Head Product Quality (Only Female Cadidates)
Place of Posting: Goa
Job profile:
- To lead the quality team and ensure high quality standards product during barge loading & laboratory operations to ensure smooth shipment of iron ore thereby leading to customer satisfaction.
- To formulate and oversee blending plan for optimum utilization of ore thereby leading strengthening sales & EBITDA of the organization. To ensure timely and accurate analysis of ore characteristics by ensuring samples are in line with the standards thereby leading to targeted Quality.
- To ensure adherence to daily loading plan basis by continuous interaction with corporate functional team / connected department, resolve deviations & monitor importance of blending plan and ensure minimization of demurrages by analyzing requirements thereby ensuring meeting of customer requirements & cost effectiveness.
- To ensue necessary infrastructure requirements for various improvement projects, loading rate, TAP cycle time for barges by identifying bottlenecks to lead optimum utilization of barges.
- To develop a strong team of quality through continuous feedback mechanism, problem solving approach & handholding & developing second line.
- To continuously connect with local stakeholders, third party SAS & government bodies by regular visits to the area, meetings thereby ensuring smooth operations.
Experience & Critical Skills:
- B.E/B.Tech Mining, Quality / M.Sc/ B.Sc Chemistry with 10-15 Years- experience.
- Knowledge of Ore Characteristics
- Sampling & Analysis standards
- Blending Knowledge
- Mineralogy of locations and Ore Behavior
- Knowledge of CIQ
- IMSBC Code Knowledge
- Market Analysis
- Analytical and Investigation skills (Customer Complaints)
- Knowledge of arbitration rules in case of major deviations
- Leadership and Team Building
- Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills
