An infrastructure major venturing into a new business in Inland waterways is seeking Business Development professionals. As a part of its strategic planning process and driving forward the project development of inland waterways, this key role will require strong domain knowledge and relevant experience in the areas mentioned below

Essential experience:

- 12 - 15 years.

Should have strong domain knowledge of planning, engineering, dredging, port handling and logistics.

Experience in construction, designing, planning of infrastructure projects ( preferably waterways or irrigation,barrage,ports or similar linear projects)

Should be familiar with working of State Govt. and Central Govt.

Should be thorough with understanding of technical drawings, specifications etc.

Should be familiar with tendering process & evaluation of engineering jobs.

Key responsibilities:

Lead a team of engineers and technocrats working on the project development.

Develop constant interactions with BD and project team, internal stakeholders.

Support Business Head in timely delivery of the project.

Education

- Engineering Graduate from a reputed institution.

A qualification in Management will be an added advantage.
