Head - Projects & Engineering - Food Processing (9-11 yrs)

Position Description :
- Set up pilot food processing plant by scoping process/packaging equipment & utilities (like boiler, chiller, and compressor) and integrating them with the food processing machine.
- Lead the scoping & technical budgeting process for setting up a commercial-size, large-scale food processing factory. Procurement, inspection & supervising installation of equipment for pilot, and in future for the commercial plant. Document/drawing/cable schedule management & updation.
- Troubleshooting & maintenance of the plant to ensure near 100% uptime. Maintenance of spares & managing warranty, insurance claims. Cost optimization through engineering design.
- Troubleshooting & maintenance of PLC & I/O of the food processing machine & other process equipment that are wired to utilities.
Hiring Profile :
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech - Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Food Technology.
With 9-11 years in top notch MNCs/ Indian companies in the food business. Knowledge/experience of food processing (especially food sterilization like retort, microwave drying, frozen lines etc.).
- Ability to do MEP design & detail engineering including equipment sizing. Ability to scale up a pilot plant operation to commercial scale. Purchase/Negotiation skills. Ability to work on PLC/HMI.
