Educational Qualification required : Bsc, Msc Chemistry, B Tech Chemical or relevant qualifications .Post Graduate in Science (preferably in Chemistry) from premier institutes.

Experience Required : Minimum 10 years + in Quality Control, Quality Assurance & Risk Assessment from Consumer Goods industry.

Job Description -

- Oversee ex-factory quality adherence across the categories of Personal Wash, Hair Care, Home Care.

- Establish systems for qualifying vendors/raw material

- Establish systems for upgrading adequacy of specifications on an ongoing basis

- Value add from competition analysis

- Enable the organization to effectively draft standards.test methods and SOPs

- Strengthen and implement material analysis across HO and manufacturing clusters

- Partner across units in enhancing our ex-factory quality standards

- Establish systems for qualifying vendors / raw material

Skills required -

- Experience - Should have led a team of Analysts/quality controllers and auditors engaged in instrumental analysis in the pharmaceutical (preferably) or FMCG industry

- Should have interacted and networked with third party laboratories, having National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) or similar accreditations.

- Must have carries out due diligence for 3rd party sourcing

- Exposure to Statistical Quality Control (SQC)

- Method validation skills

- Establishment of online process capability

- Knowledge of appropriate statistical tools for problem solving

- Cross Functional Interaction - Intra functional interaction with Product Development & Packaging Design & Development ; Product Supply Organization ; Marketing

Overall responsibility for risk assessment and mitigation for new product launches as well as existing products
