Head - Quality - FMCG (8-18 yrs)
The company is a young FMCG player and growing rapidly within and outside India. It is backed by reputed VC/ PE funds.
A Brief about the role:
- Dexterity across conceptualizing and implementing operational strategies for the quality function by carrying out quality planning to conform to organizational QA/QC requirements.
- Ensure consistency in product & process quality.
- Demonstrated professional excellence in boosting productivity, cutting costs and fostering efficiency with proven track record of production planning, process engineering, technical improvements, resource balancing & management of cross functional workforce to achieve desired production and productivity objectives.
- Strategic roles provide leadership for developing & directing quality assurance & improvement.
- Manage & maintain the company's internal audit program & asses improvement initiatives resulting from all quality audits internal & external.
- Deft in commissioning new plants, handling key Projects like Capacity Enhancement & Automation, Quality improvement process.
- Proven track record in administering overall production process to ensure that the products are produced as per the quality and quantity standards.
- Proficient in handling Water treatment (coagulation, RO )& Effluent treatment plant, Cooling water treatment
- Maintaining great cordial relationships across regulatory authorities like PCB, FSSAI, BIS, Local authorities etc.
- Robust record of success in defining & observing process parameters, introducing process improvements & safety measures, identifying and isolating areas of obstructions to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Fully conversant with concepts and application of ISO22k (FSSC) & HACCP system.
- Establishing quality standards as per ISO 9001, 22000 (FSSC, FSSAI), 14001, AIBI (Food safety) to enhance quality of products & maintaining requisite documents.
- Onus of releasing finished and raw materials and compliance of finished products with respect to specifications.
- Instrumental in implementing stringent quality control systems (ISO 9000), food safety management systems (ISO 22000) & conducting audits to enhance quality of products and reduce rejection/ wastage.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum experience of 10 years in a food FMCG company
- True team leader, trainer and motivator with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Well aware of change management procedure.
- Competent multitasker who can take initiatives and responsibilities, understand the criticalities of the assignment and deliver the same flawlessly.
- A senior techno commercial personnel with comprehensive and commendable experience across manufacturing set-ups in the areas of project management, plant maintenance, material planning, overall operations and deployment of quality benchmarks.
- Sincere, diligent and focused with total commitment to organization's objectives.
- Proficient in change management technique.
- Supplier quality evaluation through audits.
- An effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal-skills. Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.
- Implementing TPM/ TQM concept to achieve higher productivity & seamless deliverables.
- Responsible for embedding robust quality and food safety system in the organization with prime focus on complete implementation of gmp. Also responsible for keeping vigilance on gmp and hygiene standards at all level.
- Onus of releasing finished and raw materials and compliance of finished products with respect to specifications.
- Designed & developed Internal Audit process.
- Conducting Quality Systems Audits of the suppliers of raw & packing materials with Special focus on Process Monitoring & Control resulting in listing of suppliers in different categories of - Supplier Authorization Process.
- Provide inputs on construction design, equipment and layout of City Processing Centre (CPC), Distribution Centre (DC) and Stores to take care of Food Safety Aspects.
