- To develop safety culture and drive for incident free operation within QA/QM.

- To ensure that all QA employees are communicated about site annual SHE improvement plan.

- To meet SHE KPIs and Targets set by management from time to time for QA at respective site.

- Participate in Behavior Based Safety program at site and ensure the same for all QA/QM staff.

- Participate in Site SHE committee, as required, to resolve safety issues and drive SHE performance at site.

- To ensure all incidents including Near Miss at site are reported, investigated and action items are tracked to closure.

- Drive use of KMS for incident reporting and investigation, MOC, action item tracking

- Ensure SHE related action items from audits, plant walkthroughs etc. are tracked to closure.

Implementation of Life Saving Rules by all QA staff.

- Safety of employees, Contractors and Visitors at site

- Following Management of Change as per the site procedure

- Define, control and monitor quality standards.

Major Activities:

- Create and implement Quality Control & Management programs, establishing the quality standards.

- Ensure that all raw materials, intermediates and finished products are inspected and tested in accordance with the established systems and consistently meet quality standards and specifications, including third party manufacturing where applicable.

- Ensure periodical evaluation with plant management and supply chain management, to make appropriate recommendations and set timetable for improvement and corrections.

- Function as an information source for the products and raw materials for Production

- Establish the Quality System Management

- Responsible for the periodical improvement and update of the Quality System Manual in order to formulate the accurate guidelines for all relevant departments and personnel.

- Work with India Management team to set quality goals at periodic reviews at management meetings

- Develop and manage internal quality audit process and team

- Non-conformance Management System

- Responsible for final evaluations of customer complaints in order to find best resolutions and maintain good company image analyzing complaint for trends and tendencies.

- Meet with vendors, suppliers, quality representatives, etc. to make certain the companys quality requirements are effective and stay up-to-date and in step with current standards.

- Track and manage action items and closure of Non-conformances in a complete and timely manner : Functional Budget

- Develop and evaluate function annual budgets and administer funds according to budget approval.

- Provide information to management regarding the budget for equipment, software and hardware purchases/installation and maintenance.

- Implement synergies between sites for special testing and back-up equipment use.

- Product stewardship and product lifecycle management

- Focus on strong product stewardship principles in how we handle products and work with customers in line with corporate guidelines.

- Product setup/rationalization and product life cycle.

- Understand changes in supply/regulatory status and communicate impact on business.

- Work on product group/subgroup clean up and reorganization.

- Partner with Operations, SCM, 3rd party suppliers; SHE etc. for effective P.S. management.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Level of education & Knowledge: Ph. D. (Applied Chemistry) with Master of Science (Applied Chemistry/

- Industrial Analytical chemistry) preferred

- Experience in general: 15-20 years work experience in quality control & assurance work (multinational experience preferred)

Technical skills:
