Head - Sourcing - Footwear (7-14 yrs)
Minimum 7+ years of experience into Footwear sourcing across men's and women's collection with very good understanding of developing vendor base and sourcing across countries.
Candidates with an exposure to Private label sourcing would be a good fit
- Broad understanding of the Footwear business, including product knowledge and commercial drivers & E2E footwear business (sourcing, merchandising and operational).
- Expertise in Footwear sourcing in India and other countries including all genders and categories.
- Knowledge of India vendor base in all type of footwear.
- Involved in the startup of setting the Liaison Sourcing Office for footwear.
- Well rounded experience of working with both at the vendor side as well as the buying & sourcing side of the supply chain.
- Significant contribution in the field of Product Development & Engineering with specialized constructions in Stitch-Down, Welted shoes for mens, High segment ladies boots / shoes, outdoor shoes/boots (Gore & Non-Gore) and Sports footwear
- Strong process understanding of footwear manufacturing including mould-making, Shop floor management, Process standardization, technical trouble shooting and testing.
