Head - Supply Chain - Pharma (15-20 yrs)
Our Client : A Leading Pharma MNC
Job Purpose:
The Head-Supply Chain is responsible for the implementation and the oversight of the entire supply chain operations for the complete business in lines with the global supply chain and operations strategy for the company. The role is also responsible for driving the S&OP meetings, ensuring a robust forecasting process, developing business continuity plans, product launches, issue resolutions as the key interface between the marketing organization and the global operations.
Major Responsibilities:
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
- Ensuring product deliveries from multiple In House, Loan License and P2P manufacturing sites, keeping in view the service level agreements with Global and Indian customers.
Ideal Candidate :
- The ideal candidate should have an overall experience of 15+ years in supply chain operations.
- Should have an experience in all the facets of supply chain i.e. procurement, logistics, distribution and warehousing
- Should have an experience of working with multiple stakeholders
- Lead / Ensure regular and constructive data analysis, reports, reviews, evaluations and appraisals in the entire supply chain process to facilitate management's informed decisions.
- Possess strong leadership skills & ability to influence change.
- Team player who possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
