Job Specification :
Position Title : Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Head - Auto Services
Educational Qualification : Engineering graduate in Mechanical/Automobile discipline preferably with an additional qualification inn Operations/Supply Chain Management
Computer Skills : Proficient in MS Office
Work experience : 8-15 years of relevant experience preferably in a distribution or retail outfit operating in an multi-location environment .Industry is no bar
Preferred age group : 28 - 33 years
Work Location : Gurgaon
Reporting To : Dual reporting to SBU Head for Distribution, Adhesive & Retail Business
Other: Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills. Exposure to TQM Methodology would be an added advantage
Job Profile :
Material planning & procurement - For 38 warehouses and overseas purchases for the Bill of material for plant in Baddi :
- Demand planning and forecasting
- Well versed with the concept of MRP cycle and experience in running the MRP cycle
- Dynamic categorisation of stock
- Order management
- Delivery management
Inventory planning & management :
- Well versed with setting up the inventory norms - Strong concepts of reorder levels and safety stocks
- Inventory movement & ageing
- Inventory integrity
Warehouse management :
- 5S in the warehouses
- Well versed with warehousing concepts - material stacking, storage & safety of product, space utilization etc
- Creation & implementation of SOP's for warehousing operations and selection of new ware house
Logistics Management :
- Responsible for Delivery cost for product deliveries to trade
- Familiar with route planning and optimisation
- Familiar with delivery vehicle design, space utilisation and safety of product delivery
- Vendor selection & negotiation of contracts with Custom clearance agents & Freight forwarding agencies
Business performance management :
- Framing,implementation of SLA's (Service level agreements) for the trade and retail business
- Monitoring & review of performance against the SLA- s
- Performance management of the function
Budgeting, MIS & representation to management :
- Well versed with budgeting for the department
- Supplier performance
- Delivery performance to dealers & retail chain
- COGS for the retail business
- Stock movement & ageing
