Supply & Capacity Planning

- Provide input and drive long term capacity planning to ensure capacity augmentation in the medium to long term

- Provide timely supply plans to production and purchase units as per market requirements and stock targets

- Drive monthly S&OP meeting to derive - one plan- and ensure consensus and transparency between all stakeholders

- Monitor daily & weekly adherence to supply plans & plan midway course correction if necessary

- Drive SKU classification, rationalization & inventory policy for Finished Goods (FGs)l & execute as per the guid

- Handled the plant operations including SCM and leading a big unit handling People, Legal, Statutory, Finance and so on

- Responsible for recruiting & developing a team for handling supply chain process efficiently and impact is visible form the achievement

- Leading & supervising the purchasing, logistics and warehousing; steering efforts in transforming to proactive supply chain from reactive supply chain

Job Objective:

Handle the Supply chain activities for the entire group

- To drive timely procurement of material according to production plan and other requirement for efficient functioning of plant operations. Ensure a cost effective process for procurement of identified goods & services. Process requests from user departments towards identification of suitable material source, negotiation and fulfilment in a timely manner and as per specified quality.

- Prepare Procurement plans for Spares/ Consumables and other local materials based on the Demand & Production Plans and ensure timely processing of indents and generation of purchase orders to ensure that the required materials/ services (Engineering Consumables, Laminates Consumables, Spares, Domestic Capex Goods, Fuel, Vegit & Agro, Furniture, Services & Others) are available as per the requirements of user departments

- Coordinate with Laminate Operations, VAP Operations, Vegit Operations and other user departments to understand requirements and coordinate with Corporate SCM & suppliers for fulfilment of such requirements

- Develop cost effective procurement process comprising of elements such as, technical evaluations and commercial evaluations; Form & chair procurement related decision making committees for purchase of high value items for Hapur

- Monitor adherence to procurement budget, identify cases of deviation take necessary action to correct such deviations

- Liaise and negotiate for costs & delivery timelines with approved vendors for purchase of Spares/ Consumables

- Liaise and negotiate with vendors for quantity of materials supplied and delivery timelines of Raw Materials (Purchased by corporate SCM) to Operations

- Finalize & publish all required purchase related MIS & reports for review of leadership team members (Directors, COO, Plant Head etc.)

- Actively participate in recruitment activities, drive employee development and performance management of employees and adherence to HR policies as per the process laid down by HR
