HOD - Process Design - Water Treatment (10-20 yrs)
Job Description : HOD - Process Design
Key Responsibilities :
- Basic Engineering
- Selection of Treatment Technology/Processes/treatment scheme to meet the process requirement/guarantees, developing the Process design, PFD, P&IDs, HFD, Layout, Process control philosophy etc for Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Industrial Effluent Treatment, Desalination plants etc
- Process Lead in HAZOP,CHAZOP workshops
- Detailed Engineering
- Preparation of Process GADs /Civil Guideline drawings
- Process Equipment Specifications, Vendor offer Evaluation & selection of Process Equipment /Systems
- Inputs to Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation &Control Designs /drawings
- Engineering Management
- Prepare and monitor Overall Engineering Schedule, Engineering DCI,CTR(man hours)
- Engineering coordination with Client, consultants and other stake holders
- Testing /Trial run/Commissioning
- Preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manual, Commissioning Troubleshooting and ensuring successful process performance guarantees
- Technology
- Keep track of advancement in water/waste water treatment technologies, sludge treatment and management, life cycle cost approach to technologies
- Well versed in treatment technologies/process design of MBR,SBR/MBBR/UF/RO etc
Qualifications : BE/B.TECH(Civil/Chemical/Mech) +Masters in Environmental Engineering from reputed Institutions
Experience :
- 10 to 15 years in Water Sector in Consultancy /Engineering Organisations or EPC Companies in Engineering Role handling above responsibilities and handled plants of higher capacities >50 MLD
- Proficiency in using various IS /International codes /manuals
- Exposure to Software viz BIOWIN,RO Projection/membrane selection, 3D modelling
