Horizontal Engineer- QM (3-7 yrs)
Job Description :
1. The candidate should know Material and Heat Treatment and Weld Process selection, Proto component Heat Treatment and Welding process Management ( including process parameter optimization ), Metallurgical Testing and validation of parts.
2. The candidate will be responsible for Material selection, Drawing review and standard updating, Material testing and characterization, Proto parts Heat treatment process co-ordination including process optimization ( both at in-house facility and at supplier's end
3. Technical/ Functional : The candidate should have Fundamental understanding of Physical Metallurgy, Weld Metallurgy and Heat Treatment Processes.
- Fundamental understanding and Hands-on experience in handling various types of Lab equipment like UTM, Micro-hardness testers, Metallurgical microscope
If candidate would have Exposure to Corrosion and Corrosion Prevention methods will be an add on.
Note : This is an Individual Contributor role.
Also, Preferred Exposure should be in Heat Treatment of Gears/Automotive Parts, Metallurgical Lab activities and Lab Management, Welding and Fabrication process ( Metallurgical aspects )
