Purpose of Position

- The Job incumbent is responsible to develop, direct and deliver HSE (Construction Safety Management) related services which include Construction HSE Management and Services, Safety Audits, Safety Training, Risk Assessments (Qualitative), Construction Safety Services for Water / wastewater Pipe line Construction.

Major Responsibilities

o Network Coordination &development

- Lead and Develop the HSE network in the Water and Drainage Construction Projects

- Coordinate Customer HSE tasks (Management System, Audit & reports)

- Monitor Customer- Sub Contractors on HSE

o Design and maintain the integrated HSE Management Systems

- Follow-up and report HSE KPI's to management

- Proactive Identification of high risk activities and ensure that processes are in place to protect employees

- Identify and disseminate best practices within the Projects

- Ensure that Personal Protective Equipment is correctly identified, fit for purpose and correctly applied in activities.

- Support entities maintain existing HSE programs (certified or not)

- Lead and coordinate internal and external audit programs

Prevention Management

- Introduction of incident risk management tools & techniques

- Increase awareness of costs and risks of poor performance and non-compliance

- Periodic monitoring/verification of the application of safety procedures in the field.

Maintain and improve HSE performance

- Implement HSE Policy of Customer at site

- Advise the Project senior management team for compliance to respective HSE regulatory requirements

- Implement priorities, train and support management

- Complete analysis (complaints, accident) and propose corrective actions with management

- Track and report HSE performance to Corporate HSE Management.

- Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

- HSE KPIs - safety performance,

- Review quality and effectiveness of internal HSE audits executed (completeness, correctness, timing, documentation, etc.)

- Qualification and Experience

- Diploma /B.E/ B.Tech in Civil /Mechanical with 8/5 years- experience with PG Diploma in Industrial Safety

- Experience in tailoring and implementing HSE management systems for a large organizations preferably at site.
