Role Purpose:

- The purpose of this role is to ensure that HSE and security risks are being managed through effective deployment and maintenance of HSE Management system at site in line with global framework. Taking a primary lead to protect associates, assets and environment and also enable site HSE performance.

- Overall responsible to mitigate and manage unsafe situations and drive HSE culture across the supply by actively engaging the site leadership team. Responsible to implement Site Strategies in response to regional/global standards for Site HSE and Security and Asset Conservation programs

- Accountable to manage trainings to support Supply function in the process of building required functional capabilities amongst associates and contractors.

Educational & Professional Qualification :

- B. Tech/ Diploma in Engg. / any science graduation from recognized university (full-time course)

- Specialized safety or environmental qualification is preferred like risk management, Auditing, etc.

- One year full time Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized institute is preferred

Knowledge/Experience

- 8-14 years- experience in manufacturing environment which includes exposure in safety and environmental management (driving safety performance, culture and metrics)

- Play an active role to drive HSE agenda as part of SOG team; As the HSE subject matter expert providing advice to cross-functional teams and influencing across hierarchy to cascade HSE agenda.

- Self-motivated, has a systems based approach

- Incorporates external perspective, cross-segment/regional/global best practices for local deployment.
