ICONS Engineering - Lead - Instrumentation Engineer (10-15 yrs)
Position: Lead Instrumentation Engineer
Job Description:
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years in Industry experience (Fertilizer/Petrochemical/oil and gas plants)
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, SPI-INTOOLS, and AVEVA - E3D, to design and implement instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise a team of instrumentation engineers, providing guidance and mentorship in all aspects of instrumentation and control systems.
2. Demonstrate a deep understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to instrumentation engineering.
3. Utilize engineering tools and software, including AutoCAD, SPI-INTOOLS, and AVEVA - E3D, to design and implement instrumentation systems.
4. Manage and oversee all instrumentation engineering activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project schedules.
5. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation designs with overall project requirements.
6. Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve technical queries and ensure timely delivery of instrumentation components and systems.
7. Assist the project Engineering Manager in manpower estimation, work planning, and progress monitoring to ensure adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.

1. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers towards project success.
2. Proficient in engineering tools and software relevant to instrumentation engineering, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SPI-INTOOLS, and AVEVA - E3D.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards in all instrumentation engineering activities.
5. Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology.
6. Familiarity with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards and regulations is a plus
