POSITION OBJECTIVE : Ensure the effective implementation of the Quality Management System at the Program production operations. Increase the Level of Customer Satisfaction, compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements and achieve the company business objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES :

Control the product realization process

- Assure shipment of product which meets the customer requirements - ship a product free of defects

- Assure the product-process control according to the customer and company specifications

- Define, monitor and evaluate the effectivity of quality plans and practices and maintain, follow up and control QRQC process

Manage the corrective and preventive action process

- Document and follow-up internal and external corrective actions and verify its effectiveness

- Maintain the CA/PA system for internal, external quality issues

- Communicate with the external customer

- Communicate with customer regarding product quality issues, validate and send answers to customer complaints

- Ensure all CAPA analysis and actions are adequate to address the reported conditions

- Manage the transition/introduction of new products

- Maintain FAI and PFMEA to ensure failure-free transference and new product lines or processes introduction/improvement

- Perform Validation of new components and tools as required

- Manage the documentation and records control process

- Generate, review, implement and maintain IMS documentation of quality department, work instructions, formats, etc.

- Review and approve technical and performance specifications, quality documents and instructions

- Manage the training process

- Provide on the job training as needed on quality criteria, customer complaints, etc.

- Co-lead with process engineering team, as required to develop/update/improve training modules and support for trainers

- Support material acquisition/receiving inspection process

- Provide effective feedback to receiving inspection process about the quality of supplied parts

- Support on components FAI process to receiving inspection as required

- Manage the continuous improvement process

- Actively support the company continuous improvement initiatives and ensure Continuous Improvement objectives

- Lead continuous improvement projects to reach established goals and go beyond

- Manage the audit process

- Perform internal audits (process, product and flash audits) and provide objective feedback based on audit findings

- Support and attend all required audit (customer, internal, external, etc.)

- Manage and support to the program

- Collect, analyze and oversee data entry on relevant quality performance indicators

- Supervise the performance of the assigned Quality Inspectors

- Verify status of program shipping requirements to update priorities and action items

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor degree from college or university in Industrial Engineering career or equivalent

Work Experience - Technical Knowledge

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer position in a manufacturing environment

- Experience working under ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems and environmental systems

- Experience performing component level and product level FAI process

- Experience defining and performing continuous improvement projects

Professional Skills

- AS9100, ISO 9001 quality systems management at product manufacturing level

- Problem solving and planning tools such as : 8D- s, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, QRQC, etc.

- Project management skills

- Fluent English writing and speaking proficiency

- Personnel administration
