In Living - Manager - Quality Control - Wood/Furniture (7-10 yrs)
In Trading is a vertically integrated Solid Wood Furniture manufacturing firm, with a state of art manufacturing facility in Churu, Rajasthan. The furniture is exported to customers globally as well as retailed in India through In Living, a chain of furniture stores in Pune and NCR.
The company is a part of a 1000 cr+ group driven by a promoter who is a Harvard alum and has 25 years of experience in successfully running businesses.
We are looking candidates for "DGM-Quality Control" with one of the leading client in Glass Indutry.
Industry Preference: Wood, Furniture, Metal, etc.
Education: FRI Post Graduate / Wood technologist or Expert
Job Role:
- Quality planning, strengthen Quality control systems and support trouble shooting.
- Educate QC Team for inspection, drafting check points for better quality and anti-claim production policy.
- Educate QC team regarding the technical & quality aspects, reducing the rejection level. - Monitoring aspects of quality control with adoption & implementation of corrective action at right time
- Monitor, analyze Daily / Weekly/ Monthly samples & production inspection reports.
- Liase with functional heads within the plant for product quality, New product development and process adherence.
- To conduct meetings with the Cutting, Production supervisors, & QC for quality samples & production
- Analyse Customer complaints, implement CAPA and followup within the Plant and with Customers.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationship with customers.
- Facilitate, monitor and followup for Customer Audits.
- Lead and guide all quality related aspects at the plant site by implementing quality management systems, quality plans and controls to achieve plant's objectives
- Continuous training & development of employees for quality improvement
