Summary:

In the industrial electrician role, you will ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. You must be able to understand technical documents, such as schematics, that detail job instructions. You must also adhere to the statutory codes that apply to your work. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the continued successful completion of assigned tasks with minimized equipment downtime.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Must have worked in a fully-automated concrete products manufacturing plant, or similar

- Must have practical experience working with sensors, variable frequency drives

- Must be able to trouble -shoot, install, repair and maintain electrical equipment and ensure the continued functioning of all electrical equipment, thereby minimizing equipment and Plant downtime

- Proven ability to understand and correctly interpret schematic and other technical documents

- Work individually or part of a group to successfully complete tasks

- Conducts continuous quality assurance measures and inspections

- Must have practical knowledge in automation Control

- Must be able to Troubleshoot on VFDs and PLCs, etc.

- Must be able to effect repairs to electrical motors, etc.

- Must be able to read schematics/ wiring diagrams

- Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of industrial equipment

- Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects

- Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes
