Qualification : Mechanical engineer with masters / specialized course in Design and development of Industrial products, interior product with institutes of the likes of NID or equal
Work Experience : 3-5yrs
Job Description Key Responsibilities are as follows :
- Designing and development of product, with design options, feasibility report, prototype, soft tool development, trails, signoff from key stake holders including project managers and installers for approval
- Study each component of the existing offering and look for value engineering and change if required
- Value engineering by developing allied products which are integrated and part of the services with raised floor
- Develop new application of the panels based on the current products and its manufacturing capabilities
- Make new product and project reports for complete new product and its application with full details of the changes in the current or new product and the additional tool and machinery required and the market potential
- Develop products keeping in mind ease of production, speed of production, speed of construction, cost competitive and required minimum installation expertise at site
- Understanding the raised floor international standard application
- Visiting various site to understand the different kind of application in raised floor
- Understanding the integration of other services associated with the raised floor for various application
- Understanding of the allied works and services associated with the raised floor and see if we can integrate the same in our product range
- Liaison with factory and lab for related work and demo
- Testing of products through simulation when and if required
- Understanding of various generic product and core of raised floor and its suitable for different climatic conditions
- Sourcing new vendors for development activity
