Kerry - Manager - Production (10-15 yrs)
General purpose of job:-
Manage production function efficiently with implementation of industry best practices on quality, food safety and GMP.
Principal accountabilities:-
- Be the interface between Planning & Customer Service to execute the production plans with high levels of OTIF.
- Oversee the daily running of operations and plan the resources to run the production line efficiently delivering the KPIs
- Be a dynamic leader setting examples and benchmarking standards to achieve targets while maintaining a safe and efficient operation and producing products above established quality standards
- Coordinate with the Toll Manufacturer to plan RM/PM and complete the inhouse packing finishing.
- Champion to implement sustainable Global systems that may result in certifications.
- Collaborate with various department stakeholders like Planning, maintenance, customer service and quality control
departments to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies.
- Be responsible for reducing the losses by identifying, monitoring and controlling wastages
- Drive Ongoing projects on Capacity Expansion, New Products, New technology .
- Learn the process and become the SME . Develop self & build people capability to establish a culture of own and operate.
- Maintain and track Factory related compliance, trigger alerts and initiate/coordinate for license renewals.
- MIS: tracking and maintaining production data, and reporting information to management. Collect data, analyze and bring in useful new insights.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Program on- Cost, efficiency, Sytems, safety, people, quality
Performance measures:-
- Possess key skills and competencies in the following areas: People management - Leading a sizeable team, Planning & Organizing, Influencing, Logical reasoning, multi task, delegate functions, problem solving, communication, teamwork, flexibility, train and develop Capabilities.
- Strong Experience in Production, Planning, Plant Procedures, Man Management, Food Safety Measures.
- Keep down time of equipment's and machinery to a minimum, Keep all machinery in good working and running condition, Plan purchase of spares.
Education /Knowledge and skills:-
- B. Tech / BE from a reputed institute, 10 to 15 years in Food manufacturing with a minimum 3 yrs experience as Production Manager. Sauce experience will be preferred.
Key competencies:-
- Ability to predict where things can go wrong, team player, Technically Sound, knowledge on Food safety, GMP and GFSI requirements.

Plant job @ Rewari (Haryana), reporting to Factory Manager.
