Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site opportunity for "KU Band Design Engineers" with SEMI LEAF located in Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with present role with our clients.

Job Description:

1. Satellite Communication System Design: Develop and design KU band communication systems, including antennas, transceivers, and other relevant components.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.

3. RF Circuit Design: Design and optimize RF circuits and components for KU band communication systems.

4. Analyze and evaluate system performance using simulation tools and testing methodologies.

5. Integration and Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of KU band communication systems and components.

6. Identify and resolve performance issues and optimize system parameters for maximum efficiency.

7. Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in satellite communication technology, KU band frequency bands, and relevant industry trends.

8. Leverage this knowledge to propose innovative solutions and improvements for existing products.

9. Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including schematics, technical specifications, test plans, and reports. Maintain accurate records of design changes and improvements.

10. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, hardware engineering, and software development, to ensure seamless integration of KU band communication systems into larger products or projects.

11. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all designs and products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as FCC regulations and ITU guidelines.

Preferable Skills:

1. Proven experience in the design and development of KU band satellite communication systems and components.

2. Strong knowledge of RF circuit design, microwave engineering, and communication theory.

3. Proficiency in using simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS, or similar software.

4. Familiarity with testing equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators.

5. Solid understanding of satellite communication protocols and standards.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

7. Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

8. Experience with product development life cycle and project management methodologies is a plus.
