Kuehne + Nagel - Manager - Distribution Solutions (7-10 yrs)
- Analysis of existing distribution network in terms of optimization of routes, utilization and reach times, vehicle types in respect of technical and organizational aspects. This may include - emergency support- of country distribution operations.
- Analysis and interpretation of network & distribution related data (centre of gravity etc.)
- To collaborate & use modern IT functionalities of TMS for operations mapping & Solutioning, FMEA Analysis
- Development & Maintenance of Distribution Calculation Tools & management of database of procurement prices and vendors
- Distribution Tender Centre Management for Contract Logistics
Work on customer proposals including :
- Support of network studies
- Calculations for transportation solutions
- Support of costing and pricing
- Support of presentation of solution to client
- Cooperation with national and other regional teams in X-country projects
- Support of implementations
- Explain solution and calculation
- Check assumptions with actual situation
- Define technical requirements
- Innovate to develop our solution design and set standards for APAC
- Furthermore special projects may be assigned by ZL, ZL-O
- Integration with IT, Distribution team (for procurement), Operations, Network engineering (for complex SCM solutions) as well as working in multi scope projects together with other solution design engineers as we are getting more and more complex projects
