Requirements

Position: Senior CAD Engineer at kWh Motors (EV).

Location: Bengaluru

Education: B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience

3+ years of experience in component design for the 2W/3W/4W industry

Hands-on experience in new product development is required

Experience in taking designs from scratchboard to CAD and all the way to production is an added advantage

Exceptional CAD skills and experience with PDM & PLM Softwares

Experience and knowledge with Unigraphics/ CATIA/Solidworks is a must

Should have excellent knowledge of DFMEA, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and GD&T

Primary Responsibilities include

Design, engineering, development, and delivery of numerous components and subcomponents in an Electric 2-Wheeler.

Develop detailed engineering designs which can be translated into appropriate CAD data.

Lead design meetings with component vendors while representing kWh Motors.

Follow appropriate design methodologies such as DFMEA, CAPA, RCA, and GD&T.

Prepare detailed bill of materials, costing sheets, and manufacturing drawings of the existing vehicle components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.

Lead design changes on CAD level based on interaction and inputs from vendors and manufacturers.

Support DFMEA and GD&T related activities.
