Requirements

Position: Lead - Battery Engineering

Location: Bengaluru

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.S./ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (EEE or ECE)

In-Depth knowledge in Thermal, Electrical & Mechanical aspects of a battery pack.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience of developing battery packs for electric vehicles.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Primary Responsibilities

Design & development of battery systems for Electric two wheelers.

DFA, DFM, 8D reporting, BOM, part and assembly level drawing creation.

Perform structural & Durability analysis using FEA tools.

Understanding electrochemistry at a cell level and selecting the right cells for use.

Thermal management using simulation softwares like Ansys, or STAR CCM.

Working with teams responsible for the design and development of the BMS.

Working alongside engineers to do SOC estimation and prediction algorithms.

Extracting data from various sensors from the battery pack and running analysis.

Taking over the responsibility for engineering change releases.

Defining electrical architecture and wiring harness for the batteries.
