Lab Manager - Product Development - Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)
Lab Manager - Product Development
- Good working knowledge of R&D Laboratory, products & intermediates.
- Should have 10+ years of experience post PhD with R & D and product development, synthesis, organic chemistry, instruments etc.
- PhD in Organic Chemistry is must.
KRAs :
- Responsible for all the R&D functions from Lab scale development to manufacturing plant including organic synthesis, cost reduction, process improvements, data analysis and cost calculations, technology transfer from lab to plant scale, periodic quality review, technical support to clients and business team.
- Responsible for new product development, introduction of new products, product improvement and product designing.
- Involved in laboratory as well as pilot plant scale synthesis of various intermediates
- New technology development & available commercial sources for manufacturing
- Develop organic synthesis methods for new and existing molecules
- Process development at cost effective and eco-friendly viable methods
- Process commissioning at commercial scale (Technology transfer)
- Trouble shooting at existing plant process
- Raw material identification, sourcing & vendor development
- Formulation and application for performance check of the product
