We look for expertise in the field of industrial Quality Laboratories related to Oil, Gas, Petrochemicals and Food industries.

- Ability to understand and develop Laboratory design

- Architecture & software (Revit, AutoCAD)

- Furnishing (laboratory arrangement, area segregation)

- Electrical supply on benches required to feed instruments power consumption

- Gas supply on benches required to feed instruments power consumption

- Extraction (spot, canopies, Fume Hoods) according to applicable standards

- Translate Sampling schedules (reminiscent of sample streams / points of a given production facility / pant : e.g. refinery, LNG, Petrochemical, etc.) into into instruments list according to specified International Methods/Standards (ISO, ASTM, APHA, Licensor Methods)

Main Responsibilities :

- Lead the engineering activities and ensure these are achieved within agreed targets (time, quality and costs) for each projects.

- Plan, coordinate and manage resource requirements and costs of engineering for anticipated projects and projects in progress in order to ensure sufficient qualitative and quantitative engineering capacity

- Create conditions and ensure conceptual framework for engineering activities

- Monitor the implementation, and if necessary adjust, engineering activities in order to complete these within stipulated time, specifications and budgets

- Support tendering process in order to ensure that the right technology / utilities are presented to customers and in the event of project award proposals are technically feasible and fit-to-purpose

- Support project managers and purchasing in order to find the optimum price / quality ratio of products and services from manufacturers / suppliers for the various categories in our scope of work

Optimization of business processes to ensure that projects are implemented as efficiently as possible

- Maintain and improve relevant knowledge and experience of engineering and technology in order to enable the division to participate in high-quality technical and technological projects

- Keep up with developments

- Constantly be alert of opportunities to improve quality and cost

- Collection and capture of relevant technical and technological knowledge and experience so that it is accessible and can be used in current and future projects

- Transfer knowledge and experience to design engineers and other team members

- Capture relevant international standards and documents to ensure that design and deliverable meet requirements

- Ensure standardization in the design process with the goal to achieve shorter lead times

Required SKILLS :

Education :

- Academic technical training, e.g. Architecture, Chemical Laboratory Design and Analytical Instrumentation & Applications.
