Lead Admin Manager - Retail/FMCG (10-15 yrs)
We are looking for a teammate to lead the administration at the Retail sector organization (Supermarts chain ).
- Proficiency in vendor management and negotiations and situational awareness are most valued for this position.
- A candidate with prior experience in Retail sector administration and procurement is preferred for this particular role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Facility Management: Oversee and manage the physical infrastructure of the plant.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment for all employees.
- You should also be responsible for Hostel administration and canteen management.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with various vendors and service providers to maintain and improve plant facilities. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure-
- cost-effective services.- includes vendors from FMCG backgrounds and supplyres of raw materials like food items and grains
- Health and Safety: Promote a culture of safety within the plant. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain and update records related to plant licenses,permits, and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
- Security: Implement and oversee security measures to safeguard the plant's assets and personnel. Coordinate security personnel and systems effectively.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets related to administrative functions. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintenance and Repairs : Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair activities to- minimize downtime and disruptions to plant operations.
