Role & responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for PLC, HMI & SCADA software development, and delivery.
- Handling a team of 1 PLC & 1 SCADA Engineer.
- Understand Project requirements based on the URS, Functional specification, P&ID drawings, and Eplan drawings. Develop and deliver PLC and SCADA software programs.
- Projects planning & scheduling the work for timely delivery.
- Test PLC and SCADA program in the simulation environment and validate software programs as per Functional specification.
- Participate in customer witness FAT, SAT, and other related Control System checkouts as needed.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge on PLC component selection, system, and block diagram creation, Electrical wiring, electrical panel Design, Bill of Material creation & costing
- Design systems with user management, data logging, recipe management & process visualization.
- Hands-on experience with Communication interfaces like serial ports (RS232, ASCII), Ethernet Modbus (RS485), Modbus TCP/IP.
- Programming languages such as LD (Ladder Diagram) & FBD (Functional Block Diagram) Hands-on Experience in developing ladder diagrams using Schneider/EXOR/Codesys.
- HMI (Human Machine Interface)- Screen designing & Visualization
- VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)- Commissioning & Troubleshooting Servo Motors / Actuators- Hand-on experience working with Servo motors, Electrical Actuators both Linear & Rod actuators with drivers & interface with PLC using a communication protocol like Profibus serial port. etc.
- Networking & Installation of I/O link sensors for Field Instruments (Control Valve, Sensors, Level Transmitters, Flow Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters)
- In-depth understanding of Automation Electricals
