Lead Business Analyst - Global Sourcing - Casting & Fasteners (12-15 yrs)
- Costing of various Wind turbine parts involving various commodities like plastic commodities, Fasteners, Casting, Forging, Welded & structural components, Composites, Hydraulic.
- Should have experience in Should Costing or Zero Based costing.
- Generate innovative ideas for increased process efficiency & reduction in cost
- Perform Value analysis & provide Value Engineering solutions for designing to a cost
- Provide input to New product development projects
- Presentation of technical material to peers and management
- Maintain Costing input database for international RM prices, Labour & Machinery
- Work as a team to expand ideas and sell solutions to increased process efficiency at reduced costs
- Flexibility to working hours due to Global time zones & international travel
Qualifications
- Education and work experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MBA preferable
- At least 12 to 16 years of experience in Cost Engineering & Sourcing.
- Good Analytical & Communication skills and fluency in English
- Knowledge and hands on experience in manufacturing processes, sourcing & costing
- Ability to understand and interpret Engineering drawings & Technical specifications
- Good knowledge on Raw Material price scenarios, Machinery and Labour rates.
- Knowledge on Value Engineering and Value Analysis
