Lead - DC Charging System (Deputy General Manager)
Location: Pune
The role:
The Deputy General Manager (DGM), Lead - DC Charging System is responsible for the development, testing, validation, and field compatibility management of DC Charger protocols. This role involves ensuring the interoperability and robustness of the DC charging systems within the vehicle engineering domain.
Strategic expectations and responsibilities include:
1. VECU Software Requirement:
- Finalize the functional description document for fast charging development.
- Define and finalize hardware and software functional interfaces and architectures for fast charging.
- Develop Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and bench setups for fast charging functionality testing.
- Analyze charging logs, debug, and improve function robustness.
- Ensure functional safety for the charger.
- Measures: Delivery of projects against gateways.
- Stakeholders: Vehicle Engineering, Chief Engineering team, Diagnostics tool development team,
Production line team, AE - Field Support.
2. Technology Roadmap:
- Prepare benchmark reports for the charging system.
- Develop and document a technology roadmap for the charging system.
- Support tracking of New Technology Development (NTD) project statuses.
- Measures: Timely documentation of the technology roadmap, mapping NTD projects as per APC projects.
- Stakeholders: VECU development team, Advance Product Creation team.
3. Communications:
- Maintain internal relations with key stakeholders, including Head Product Development, Program Manager, Functional Heads, and VLT teams.
- Engage with customers and dealers to generate insights and capture product feedback and unmet needs.
- Nature of Relations: Product line-specific reviews, project-specific reviews, and capturing insights.
- Frequency: Weekly, daily, and as needed basis.
