Lead Design Engineer- Mechanical (12-16 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create and develop equipment such as pumps, compressors, pipelines, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
- System Analysis: Analyze current systems and equipment to identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and Experimentation: Run tests and experiments to determine the best problem-solving methods.
- Project Planning: Draw up plans, budgets, and timelines for new designs.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all systems and equipment comply with safety regulations.
- Maintenance and Reliability: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and upgrades to prevent failures.
- Process Optimization: Optimize the performance of process systems to improve efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (a master's degree is preferred).
- Licensing: Current engineering license.
- Experience: Experience working in a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD, CAM, and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, HYSYS)
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to find solutions to complex problems.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas to team members.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team
