People Angle is hiring for a lead geotechnical engineer for one of our clients which is a leading integrated infrastructure services company. The Lead Geotechnical Engineer

Education : Bachelor degree/ Equivalent in Geotechnical Engineering,

Experience : 15 years as geotechnical engineer

Experience in estimation of soil settlements in complex subsoil conditions, ground stabilisation / densification using numerical simulation model considering soil-water coupled conditions are desirable.

Experience in deformation analysis of reclaimed land using sophisticated elastoplastic constitutive model of soil including decay of structured soil and time dependent behavioural pattern. Previous experience in developed and developing countries are desirable. ln addition, the responsibility of Lead Geotechnical Engineer will include (but not limited to):

- Carry-out Geotechnical investigations of the project area and subsequent site/ land development procedures and management considering 80-100 years soil, water, cyclone, tidal surge, meteorological, earth quake data etc.

- Provide input on the field of responsibility in inception Report, Feasibility Study Reports and geotechnical works including

reports.

. Assist the Team Leader/Project Manager to prepare the Project scope, capital cost estimations.

- Provide input on the field of responsibility in inception Report, Feasibility Study Reports and required design options.

- Analyze subsoil condition, soil settlements, and soil stabilisation using numerical modeling software.
