Lead Jacket Design Engineer - Structural Design (3-15 yrs)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plans and schedules assigned work and determines staffing needs to meet the project milestones and assumes responsibility for meeting manhour budget and project schedules for all work assigned to the group or subordinate personnel
- Receives technical guidance from Group Leader, Group Supervisor only on unusual or complex problems.
- Provides technical guidance and assigns work to engineers, designers, drafters and others who assist in performing specific assignment.
- Independently contacts project personnel, vendor's representatives to gather and give information.
- Should be able to interact with Client for Approval of various Jacket Design reports and drawings.
- Performs interdisciplinary checks.
- Development and verification of project control document and status report.
- Participates in Model Reviews and other project related workshops.
- Maintains project Contract review, KPI, Change Tracking, Schedule Tracking, Productivity and dashboard reporting, Value Engineering, Lesson Learnt etc.
- Review design documents, Subcontractors/ Vendor documents for technical compliance.
- Performs technical audits as and when required.
- Prepares, reviews or monitors project controls, cost estimates, quantity take offs and manpower requirement.
- Gives on-the-job training, promotes development of subordinates, evaluates and counsels assigned personnel.
MAIN TASKS:
- Exercises following :
1. Overall delivery of technical deliverables of the task force
2. Leadership of technical issue resolution
3. Productive utilization and absorption of engineering and design resources
4. Prioritization and planning of engineering activities and deliverables
5. Performs discipline engineering scope
- Provides leadership to a team strength up to 6 engineers and 3 designers.
- Responsible for achieving department KPI objective, productivity, milestones in a multidisciplinary task force.
- Supports field technical issues and support sub-team leads in technical communications with clients/vendors when required.
- Represents discipline in project task force in all major workshops and meetings.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Job Description for Offshore Structural Engineers (Engineers/Senior Engg./Principle Engg./Senior Principle Engg.)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Carry out Pre-Service and In-Service Structural Analysis of Deck and/or Jackets and/or FPSO Modules using SACS Software and prepare a calculation report.
- Should be able to do Connection design for deck/jackets/FPSO Modules using SACS and Excel sheet.
- Good understanding of latest API RP 2A, AISC/EURO codes is a must.
- Should be able to do all the engineering calculations independently.
- Candidate should have worked in the capacity of lead engineer ( for Deck/ Jacket/FPSO Modules) for at least one small to medium size project .
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with at least 3 - 15 years of relevant industry experience.
- People with Master's Degree in Engineering (M.E./M.Tech) shall be given preference
