Lead/Manager - Structural Engineer (5-30 yrs)
Job description:-
- Ability to lead team of Engineers/Modelers/Designers and coordination with Clients/PMC/PMT/Vendors.
- Conversant with structural steel design and analysis, welding design, stiffened plate, shell finite element analysis and hydrodynamics loading using API, AISC, AWS, DNV, ABS and other applicable codes and standards.
- Issue quality drawings as per project schedule.
- Resource planning for project delivery
- Review and analyze tender documents to understand scope of work and ensure requisite support is provided to proposal engineering group to enable bid submission on time.
- Guide/mentor team members on technical issues and career development.
- Attend meetings with client and vendors.
- Respond to and addresses client and vendor queries.
- Initiates prompt action on design changes and provides input to project management.
- Ensure that work is carried out as per company quality and HSE policy.
- Maintains focus on MTO optimization and project cost.
- Assists engineering manager in assessing whether design engineering can be handled inhouse or to be subcontracted.
