Lead - Project Management (4-9 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Governance:
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects (commercial or residential) from initiation to completion.
- Establish project goals, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and implement project governance structures and reporting mechanisms.
Planning & Execution:
- Create detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor performance to meet deadlines.
- Ensure effective coordination and collaboration across all project teams including design, procurement, and construction.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement change management processes to handle deviations in project scope, timeframes, or budget.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Track project costs to meet financial objectives and monitor variances.
- Liaise with procurement and finance teams to ensure appropriate sourcing and budgeting of materials, equipment, and labour.
Quality & Safety Assurance:
- Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.) to track schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Implement digital tools for efficient project documentation and workflow management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in project management in the construction industry (preferably commercial or residential projects).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Proven experience in budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with quality control and safety standards in construction.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience in digital transformation and integration of construction technology (e.g., BIM, ERP systems).
- Experience in managing both commercial and residential projects.
