Role Description:
The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing processes involved in the arrangement of freight transportation services for clients. This includes maintaining relationships with carriers, tracking shipment status, negotiating freight rates, and managing documentation and invoicing.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and clients
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of customs regulations and documentation
- Experience with international logistics and freight forwarding is a plus
