Logistics Engineer/ Officer CHA

Roles and Responsibilities:

Candidate shall have following experience is have min in any reputed or large size fabricated EPC Company.

1. Though knowledge of various types of Customs Clearance, across all parts in India.

2. Should have working experience on contractors role for various types of Customs Clearance and duty benefit schemes available.

3. Desirable/ exposer to Customs Clearance execution project import basis along with necessary documentation for approval, execution and closure.

4. Should have knowledge of various schemes available for import of consignment for projects in Oil & Gas chemical, fertilizer, refinery, power etc. are preferred.

5. Candidate shall have knowledge of preparation of RFQ Techno, commercial evaluation of offers and issuance of Work Order and settlements of bills is desirable for EPC, EPCM and PMC type of projects.

6. Handling CHA during execution of large size projects for all type of import clearances, refunds, scripts utilization, registration of contracts, reconciliation, Duty draw Back etc. is highly desirable.

7. Latest knowledge of information/notification issued by Customs from time to time and its interpretation, applicability and execution is desirable.

8. Candidates should have experience of setting different case with customs by proper interpretation of notification and the way they have been adapted by owner/ contractor.

9. Maintaining all records of imports and distribution of documents according to requirement of contract for various purposes.

10. Advance planning of imports/ all documents for immediate clearances of consignment, detention free clearances co-ordination with other agency including transporters for timely and effective clearance.

11. Should have experience of handling CHAs across India under various Schemes of imports and for various type of projects cargo is desirable.

12. Knowledge of various types of Insurance risk that are obtained and handled by contractor for EPC, EPCM projects along with settlement of claims. (Quick and minimum deductibles basis). Handling of Insurance broker is desirables

Education : Engineering Diploma/ B.Com, Additional Qualifications in EXIM/Shipping Logistic Management etc. preferred

Experience: 10 to 12 years
