We are hiring for Logistics Management Specialist Position with a MNC client.

Job Role/Job Description :

The primary responsibility of this position is to be the liaison between the Global Logistics, Sales Operations, Planning and Purchasing Departments, as well as Client Customers, Distributors, Dealers and Reps as it relates to optimizing their orders for transportation methodology out of the Client's India Warehouse. This position will also be the front line of communication for incoming calls from, Indian Customs, Client representatives, authorized dealers, distributors and for end-users that have special logistical needs as it relates to their orders from client's 3PL (Third Party Logistics) Warehouse in Chennai, India.

Education And Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years Global Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Distribution experience

- Prior working history with logistics container load simulation programs a plus

- Dangerous Goods Shipping by Air experience is a plus

- Knowledgeable in Indian Customs Rules and Regulations

- Knowledgeable of Incoterms

- Maintain and monitor HTS Code and Classifications

- Knowledgeable in Import and Export Rules and Regulations into and out of India as well as documentation requirements

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and one or more Indian dialects

- Knowledgeable in Free Trade Agreements (FTA) for India

Work Arrangement :

- The incumbent will work from home at Chennai.

- Working days will be Monday to Friday every week between 10am to 7pm.

- Once a month, the incumbent will be required to travel to client's India office at Bangalore.

Salary: 7 - 13 LPA
