LRF Pulpit Operator (5-10 yrs)
Job Description :
All the candidates must have steel industry background.
Candidates must have a integrated Steel Plant experience for the above posts must have good command over written Spoken English with the required Experience as specified. Computer awareness is a must relevant programs to the post are desirable, Besides Emirates Steel.

General Summary:
Oversee, Complete and Maintain LRF Pulpit Operator tasks for Steel Making Plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carries out duties assigned by the supervisor according to production requirements for LRF Pulpit Operator.
- To ensure sufficient availability of machinery, consumables and tools required for smooth running of the ladle furnace.
- Ensure that the process parameters set up at the LRF Pulpit operator work station is in accordance with the process sheets or instructions of the supervisor.
- In case of any LRF Pulpit abnormalities observed during execution of work, inform the supervisor and seek guidance.
- To ensure that the bins & hopper have the required quantity of materials required to carry out smooth operation of the plant.
- To monitor and analyse the trends and alarms that appear on the HMI & LRF and take necessary countermeasure by informing the supervisor.
- Constantly communicates with EAF & CC control room to ensure smooth processing within the melt shop.
- In case of an emergency or fire notifies the Fire & safety department.
- Ensures that all safeties in the ladle furnace are working, abides by the company policy to confirm to safety regulations.
- Ensures that work area is clean and free of any obstacles or encumbrances faced during LRF operations.
- Ensures the effective implementation of operational policies covering all areas of the ladle furnace so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a cost effective quality product to EAF/ LF operation.
- In case of an emergency situation, co-operates with the supervisor and acts in accordance with the operational procedures/work instructions prescribed for the Section.
- To ensure that the temperature and sampling frequency is properly followed to ensure consistency in process and product.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- To impart training for new employees.
- To coordinate with cranes and the Ref and CC sections.
- To coordinate with LF/CC & MH on a regular basis to optimise the productivity of the plant.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities (attributes) required:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- Sufficient Technical knowledge of furnace and melting parameters.
- Good Planning Skills.
- Communication Skills
- Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)
- Graduate in science
- Any preferred professional training (Nice to have)
- In-depth technical knowledge of Melting applications using DRI and problem solving.
- Good knowledge of computer application and data analyzing.
Professional Experience (Must haves)
- Around 510 Years in a Steel Plant as a control room pulpit operator.
- Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations (Nice to have)
- Around 5 10 Years with a mini steel plant having a EAF/LF/CCM production route with DRI
