Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

1. Oversee electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met

2. Plan, schedule, and monitor electrical installation activities to ensure timely project delivery

3. Reviews Master Construction Program for MEP pertaining to allocated package of MEP works.

4. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to align project requirement

5. Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials

6. Assist Lead Engineer-MEP to expedite the mobilization and start-up of works. With the help from Safety Officers, ensure mobilization is complete with respect to required resources of manpower, machinery, tools & tackles, and HSE and statutory requirements.

7. Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team efficiency.

8. Supervise electrical system installations, including transformers, switchgear, panels, DG, HSD, cabling, and lighting

9. Continuously monitor the performance targets with respect to scope, time, and quality and safety requirements in line with requirements

10. Maintains good working relationship with the client representative and PMC, Architects and consultants.

11. Send Request for Inspections to client/PMC in a timely manner and inspections carried out as per the standard checklist. Observations/rectifications are completed in time and recorded.

12. Record days- work, abortive work, time loss resulted from design changes. Document verbal instructions through CVI.

13. Analyse and resolve complex electrical engineering problems

14. Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and as-built systems.

15. In-depth understanding of national and international electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).

16. Ensure all electrical designs and installations adhere to safety codes and local regulations.

17. Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and tests

18. Perform functional and performance testing of electrical systems and equipment.

19. Ensure systems meet performance and safety requirements before handover.

Qualification: Diploma/B.E/B.Tech Electrical

Experience : 5 to 8 years
