Senior MEP QA/QC Engineer
Job Description:
1. Preparation of Project Quality plan
2. Develop and implement MEP QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists based on project specifications and standards
3. Monitor and evaluate the quality of MEP installations, materials, and workmanship at every project stage
4. Conduct inspections and audits of materials, equipment, and work processes to ensure adherence to project requirements
5. Proficiency in ISO standards and quality management systems
6. Participate in external audits conducted by clients, third parties, or certification bodies
7. Strong experience in conducting internal and external audits
8. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates
9. Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
10. In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC,IPC, Local Building codes & regulations etc.).
11. Report non-conformances and initiate corrective actions in coordination with project teams.
12. Liaise with project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and suppliers, to address QA/QC issues
13. Ensure third-party inspections and certifications are completed as required
14. Coordinate with the design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure seamless integration of QA/QC processes
15. Verify and document the commissioning process, including validation of test results and as-built records
16. Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements to improve QA/QC processes.
Qualification: Diploma/B.E/B.Tech Electrical
Experience: 5 to 8 years
CTC: 42 K to 78 K per Month
Location: Mumbai
Notice period: one month or less
