Machine Operator (2-5 yrs)
About the Job
Superior Group is hiring a 1st shift Machine Operator for our client located in Santa Ana, CA. This position will be contract-to-hire and will pay at $12.50 per hour. As a Machine Operator, you will:
- Operate a variety of manual and CNC machines to produce precision parts to the required specifications.
- Inspect parts to verify conformity to specs.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines.
- Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a shop environment.
- High School Diploma
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of watch gauges and dials
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height, thread and pin gages)
- Knowledge of basic math
