Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Automation Maintenance Field Engineer to join our team at our FMCG company in the DRC. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in classic automation, specifically with PLCs such as Siemens S7 or any latest version. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining electrical cabinets, circuits, and ensuring the smooth operation of our automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Conducting routine maintenance on electrical automation systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with PLCs, electrical cabinets, and circuits.

- Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies, and manage the production team for efficiency lines output.

- Providing technical support and training to maintenance staff on automation systems.

- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.

- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in electrical automation maintenance, specifically with PLCs like Siemens S7 and equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of classic automation systems, electrical circuits, and control systems.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification in PLC programming or related field.

- Experience working in the FMCG industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
