Maintenance Engineer - FMCG (8-10 yrs)
Role Objective/Purpose of the Role:
- Position supports the site's maintenance and related systems which covers monitoring, control and maintenance of production & related equipment's, ensuring the uptime of all the production equipments, capability improvement of operating team, lead improvement projects and support digital systems in the manufacturing plant.
- Focus of the role is to support and execute the sites operation and maintenance strategy, covering onsite maintenance, capital projects, compliance with regulatory standards. Position reports to Manager Delivery Engineering and work closely with several business and functional managers.
Primary Responsibilities :
Engineering Management:
- Support developing the company's maintenance system in line with the Site Business Need (SBN).
- Responsible for any one of the production blocks (Beauty or Nutri) for maintenance, trouble shooting, continuous improvement initiatives and CAPEX projects related to his block.
- Responsible for asset maintenance and care, spares management, employee and equipment safety.
- Set and monitor the performance of the production equipment's against standards and support to achieve targets in areas such as asset uptime, operating efficiency, energy management, cost control, statutory compliance, EHS and human support systems.
- Ensure adherence to sustainability and quality standards
- Support digital initiative for plant and support implementation of Matrix, INFOR, Clarity and similar digital projects.
- Key person responsible for PM pillar implementation in operation areas like beauty/Nutri.
- Ensure Preventive maintenance compliance
- Adhering department Operation budget
- Support the maintenance key elements for QAC.
- Responsible for driving the continuous improvement projects for the production plants
- Responsible for developing SME and support AM pillar implementation.
Project Management:
- Support installation, networking and commissioning of improvement projects related to his area of responsibility.
- Support the department projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Manage project dependencies and critical path and lead his sub-team.
- Drive department meetings and with project team, issues meeting agendas, leads discussion regarding project status,
and provides minutes that summarizes key discussions and actions.
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors and consultants. Responsible for safety and Delivery throughout its life cycle.
- Liaise with and effectively communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
People Management:
- Manage contractors and OEMs for performing time maintenance complying HR, Quality and Safety requirements
- Drive individual development plans for the concerned plant technician's team in collaboration with HR
- Manage shop floor technical team, and work on improving their capability.
