Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Utility Operator to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of utility plant equipment and responding to breakdowns promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor all utility plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Operation: Operate utility plant equipment while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- First Responder: Act as the first responder to utility breakdown situations, ensuring timely resolution.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and extend equipment life.
- Corrective Maintenance: Execute minor corrective maintenance tasks as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
- Communication: Communicate any issues beyond personal ability to the section supervisor/manager promptly.
- Instruction Compliance: Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure task completion as per company standards.
- Independence: Handle assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Education: High School Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Skills:
- Strong technical skills in operating and maintaining utility plant equipment.
- Ability to perform both preventive and minor corrective maintenance tasks.
- Good problem-solving abilities and quick response to breakdowns.
- Effective communication skills for reporting issues and following instructions.
- Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
