Role Purpose : 

- Design management and design development of commercial buildings and student housing projects.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities : 

- Lead the architectural design process for commercial real estate projects from concept to completion, ensuring that design and construction align with expectations and project goals.

- Facilitate the coordination of drawings and data pertaining to architecture with other disciplines (structure, MEP, landscape, liaison, interiors, etc.).

- Facilitate the team's review and validation of the drawings and data shared by the external consultants related to design during various stages (from design development to the construction stage).

- Create innovative and aesthetically astute architectural designs that are functional, sustainable, and cost-effective. Incorporate sustainable design principles where applicable. Manage project budgets and expenses, making recommendations for cost-effective design solutions and materials.

- Ensuring that timelines for drawing preparation by external consultants are achieved within the estimated cost and time and providing additional support as and when required.

- Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project objectives are met. Prepare the presentations, reports, and briefs required for the project.

- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure that construction aligns with the approved designs and specifications.

- Ensure that all architectural designs and construction plans adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

- Document all drawings and data shared between the team and external agencies.

Educational Background & Desired Experience : 

- Masters/Bachelor's degree in architecture.

- Ideal candidate will have proven 6-8 years of experience in commercial real estate architecture.

- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch UP, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles.

- Proficiency in using MIS and reporting tools.
