Manager - Assembly - Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)
We are looking at professional's for one of our clients in Mumbai.
Position (designation): MANAGER - Assembly
Education : BE Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation (Mandatory)
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the expenses of assembly department against the budget and control expenses to achieve the same within budget.
- Prepare Budget for coming year and take approval from CEO.
- Fore-see bottle necks in machines dispatches for the current month and next month and take necessary remedial action
- Conducting daily meeting with operation team and understand bottle neck to resolve the same. Also Inform Sales team if any changes in delivery schedules.
- To oversee timely dispatches of products with Right Quality as per target set by company in coordination with stakeholders from other departments
- Monitor assembly plan month-wise for all machines/systems to achieve the monthly target
- Ensure ISO Assessment parameters are sent on first week of every month to MR.
- Analyse technical issues in machine and suggest corrective action against any design gaps or manufacturing defect to avoid repetition of problems,.
- Attending weekly CAPA meetings, SOS meetings, Production meetings and HOD meetings
- Discuss with Development team for new software release schedules for for any other related issues
- Coordinating with Design and Development, for Design upgradation, BOM corrections etc
- Discuss with Design and Manufacturing team for continual improvement in machines with respect to aesthetics and performance
- Ensure IS, 2S in dept. Ensure employees in the department are trained & competent for the work, concerned at all point of the time.
- Motivate the Team to achieve organisation goals . Develop good culture across the department. Nurture the team towards continual improvement
- Ensure Uniform dispatches to create work life balance
- Trouble shooting of machine issues
- Coordinate with subcontractor for timely machine readiness
- Ensure subcontractor bills are accounted every month
- Ensure Monthly stock taking and if any shortages, take corrective and preventive action
- Performance appraisals for subordinates and preparing Goal sheet
- Support Team in making assembly SOP for new products and for current products
