Manager/Assistant Manager - Supply Chain Planning - Radial Tyres Manufacturing (7-10 yrs)
Manager - Supply Planning (Farm, Comm & OTR PBU) & National S&OP Process, Asst Mgr SC (Analyst) E04
Looking for Supply chain manager for a leading manufacturing company in Radial Tyres
Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
Lead the Supply Planning process from Aurangabad Factory including :
- Ticketing,
- OE liaison
- Finished Goods availability
- Imports and Exports
Lead the RM Planning & monitoring process including Regional liaison & with Procurement on RM availability :
- RM planning in line with the S&OP planning
- Issue bill of material to procurement to plan for RM sourcing
- RM inventory planning in line with AOP plan
- Participates in process improvement projects and makes recommendations to improve current IT system, process and distribution architecture.
- Proactively seeks improvement opportunities within the business proactively during the role.
- Contributes to the Demand & Distribution planning processes with the Logistics & Planning team.
Lead the RM store team :
- Following safety, ergonomics and environmental guidelines of the organization
- Compliance to all organizational documentary requirements & processes.
- Management of 3PL, for delivering the right business value throughout India, including CFA appointment, contract management, and managing delivery KPIs.
- Designing cost effective Distribution model to ensure lowest cost to serve with least transit time.
- Ensure the business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges.
- Improvement in customer service on ordering and delivery.
Knowledge and skills :
- Should have strong knowledge with Advance Planning Optimization tool and Distribution Resource Planning
- Must be conversant with Supply Planning, Replenishment systems, Logistics management.
- IT knowledge - APO Demand Solution implementation, Distribution Resource Planning, MRPII, sound knowledge in Excel Spreadsheets.
- Must have a strong customer orientation
- Must have exposure to Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP Processes)
- Must have Working Knowledge of SAP
- Must have a good understanding on Inventory Management.
- Should be familiar with Supply Chain Cost.
- Should be conversant with Fill Rates, On Time & In Full concepts.
- Exposure of Industries : FMCG /Tire/Automobile Spare Parts
- Excellent negotiation skills / experience with diplomatic handling of challenging cross functional and business relationships by persuading, convincing and build partnerships in order to reach consensus.
Education and Experience :
Required : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Math, Economics, Statistics or Engineering.
Experience :
- IT Knowledge - Knowledge of SAP and MS office
- Must have a strong customer orientation
Working experience on continuous improvement within sales forecasting, demand planning, inventory management or operations planning.
In Depth experience in Operation/Logistics management with 7-8 year experience in the C&FA/Transportation, order Management
